That list of friends that I've made on my profile...

Of course, one point of it is to show those people that I appreciate them and care for them, but really, the biggest point of it is something else.
A while ago I made a journal talking about how I don't want people to feel like I've forgotten about them, that a lack of interaction is purely due to anxiety, awkwardness, and a lack of things to say. That's what the list is really for, to make sure that those people, who's friendships I cherish, know that I never forget about them, no matter how long it may be between conversations, how little I have to contribute to those conversations, and how difficult it is for me to reach out, even just to say hi.
