Gonna cook something up real quick!
Hey y'all. Been a little bit since I last had a chat with ya, how've you been? Drinking plenty of water and getting enough sleep? Time to give an update on the life here at Base #5 of Art Studio 7-13. A lot has happened in the 9 months since the last update.
So jumping right from where we left off, thumb is healed up (as you can tell from the art since) but a few days after that last update, my apartment was broken into 3 times in a span of 24 hours. Thankfully no computers or instruments were taken, but the person used my shower and bed and took my hair clippers (which he was using when I caught him in my bathroom after the second break in) and 2 pairs of my steel toed work shoes. Police came did evidence and all that (twice), and apartment wouldn't let me transfer without having to pay a transfer fee and new lease. So I'm still here with a knife in my headboard and a security camera facing my door and windows. Had to renew the lease this year because I couldn't find a better place within my budget. It is what it is, sadly.
Moving on, since the last update I have been promoted twice at my job and am officially the new night shift supervisor! The stress has been immense up until now, but I pushed through! That may mean computer upgrades in the near future for better art and streaming!
Speaking of art, y'all remember The Vixen's Cry? Yeah, I may put an indefinite haitus on that one, as I have not touched or looked at that series since the last page, and dunno if I'm willing to want to continue it. Who knows. Maybe it'll come back. Or not. *shrug*
I will, however, be story boarding some other comics with other characters, as well as revive old OC's and fursonas (maybe with a new mouse boy on the way soon too) so look out for those!
Life's been crazy! Hopefully time will be on my side this time.
