Ah, so sorry that particular service waitlist has been backlogged for...years now! I've been wanting to finish some other project before accepting those orders, and I'm FINALLY just about done. So hoping to start messaging folk soon (I suspect it's definitely been too long). But I plan to give a little gift of sorts to show my appreciation to you all for even taking the time to fill out the form!

I'm vaguely active. Personally, I'm interested in Iron Page style work where there is a bit more exploration of characters afforded by virtue of multiple images.
Small works in a square or 4:3 format for icons could be interesting.

I've fallen back to lurking quite a bit the past few years, but I've been doing a lot to improve my mental health and interact more in general.

You've actually been on my list to commission again in the (hopefully) near future, since I've gone through a couple of character changes since I last commissioned you! Budget's just been tight, here (not your fault; it's just inconsistent and hard to plan commissioning around currently)

I will admit though that I'm also not quite sure what I would approach for in the way of services, but I feel that's on me to look into what you offer more than it is what you're offering. Some concepts in designing a new outfit, and otherwise working with a newer version, are definitely what I have in mind; how do you feel about slightly abnormal anatomy (specifically, multiple limbs)?

If absolutely nothing else, I've managed to learn that I can't do much if I'm ground into the dirt! Everyone should prioritise their own well-being when they have the opportunity to.

In this case, it's mainly just extra limbs- in my more specific case, a second pair of arms and matching pectorals (which also means a longer torso, overall).

Sorry I can't recall exactly, or if I'm mixing you up with another. I'm positive of no discussions recently tho : I've made slight re-toolings concerning the sketch commissions, but only major re-toolings and discussions (mostly with mutuals) concerning my tattooing side.

Not recently no, this has been many years ago.
It has to do with your Free reign Model, that it directly impacts even the smallest Direction, such as asking for one of my Characters to be wearing Glasses. Especially when its part of his design.
You gave your reasoning behind it, but it just doesn't vibe with me personally.

But even then like I said, with your Unique style, you make some very interesting things. I like alot of it.
But just, my characters don't fit it. And Ive tried to suck it up and just give it a shot several times. SO you can say I at least gave you the Benefit of the doubt.

I'm trying to pinpoint what era of my services that was, as I revise my services every so often. As I had (and still do) a free-reign, and a "ref as is" kinda option, without direction. Perhaps it was JUST after my acceptance of a burnout from "direction" and such, but before I added, "ref as is" kinda thing. Cause I do love giving folk options.

I just checked how long ago your orders were, and yeah, LOTS of changes since 2019/2020 .

You just made me realize I don't have the "artist reign" (the kind where I inform folk I can change the character design) and "ref as is" type of options tho. Since offering the "iron pages" I think, I auto go by the ref. REALLY fun to just explore folks characters as they are that way. Actually...the only semi revisions i do is play with hair styles (unless ref says style never changes).

Hello, regarding the "Special sketch form" commission, what is the minimum increase from the base price, for example $50 us >... The examples you posted correspond to the 100 us category?

No minimum increase.
So sorry for the confusion on the samples! I just updated it a bit to be more clear.

The samples for "iron page", are accurate correspondence. Since it's flat rate.
"Special sketch" sample correspondence is basically based on what the client believes I'm worth XD Since it's a "pay what you want". I do what I feel is fair.
I CAN say that all 3 "special" samples so far, are def NOT less than $100

BUT, Those samples were actually a previous "special sketch", where it was like a roulette: where 2 different clients paid an amount of their choice, and I paired them up randomly, and color was based on the higher pay of the 2.

I've pondered reaching out many times, as I like your style, but I'm uncertain about your process (from my point of view). I absolutely, 1000% respect your desire to have your creative freedom, but I've typically found it difficult to accurately convey myself in a short form.
