I'm surprised to hear so many people having issues with their feed! I literally don't have anything that's causing me to block, mute, or blacklist others

For me, the problem was seeing an abundance of posts of a certain subject that I didn't want to see on the main feed. I did everything I could to hide any and all posts of that nature (unfollowing accounts I was signed up for automatically, blacklisting certain words, etc.) but I kept seeing them, and it's a subject that I really don't like seeing through social media.

I'm told that it's not a problem if I follow a few other accounts of my choice, which is probably true, but I'm not interested enough in joining to find out.

I see, that makes sense as the algo doesn't know what to show out outside of what's already being "followed" by your account. Sad to hear that it's not for you, but hey at least you tried it. I've been using it since it was in beta and I find it to be really nice. I don't have to worry about seeing the individuals or subject matters I don't like and I see more of my friends' post than I had been with Twitter.

It's obviously a work in prog, but I'm enjoying what I've been experiencing so far. It's much like life, right? One person's experience won't be the same for the next
