🎉Got Scammed Again🎊
Do not commission cuquibuowo on Twitter. They have a history of not delivering finished art.
I bought an adopt with custom changes on YCH.commishes almost a year ago but the artist the seller was collaborating with has never delivered the finished piece.
Progress was going smoothly until it started slowing down around November, last year. They made it clear that irl stuff was hindering them and I agreed to the delays in return for extra art. After that, they went silent. I contacted the seller through their Twitter and they got me to the artist's DM's. They aren't proficient in English but i assumed they told me that they were going to show me the progress the next day, to which i was met with more silence. I explained this to an art friend and they knew all about their behavior which is also how I found out they're a scammer in the first place.
This is probably unrelated but my red flags were going off from the start. The way they would send WIPs was through a low-quality camera capture of their screen taken by their shitty phone. The thing is though, the seller I bought the adopt from had done commission work for me in the past and they did the same thing of sending WIPs to me. So I was kinda skeptical of any sort of foul play throughout the whole ordeal and Well that skepticism cost me $95...
