Murkmite Redesign/Reconcept is a GO!

Heya I'm sure you all remember my rant from 2 months ago https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/10812109/
I have been BUSY reconcepting these little critters. Looking forward to really going into it in terms of ideas and concepts. The baseline lore is done, based on my world stuff. You don't really need to know the specifics for the origin other than these murks are creatures which seek to evolve and change their hosts into what they consider the "perfect being." In this case a monstrous, goopy, predatory murkmonster :V
Of course the main goal as always is to avoid too much body horror/gore typically associated with parasitic stuff while really digging into the more corruptive side of these gooey creatures. The psyche and effects of their takeover and how the host interprets this and is brainwashed into embracing it. This will culminate in the "rebirth" of the host into a terrifying perfected organism that is a melding of both the minds of the host and murk in perfect symbiosis.
Unfortunately means this old ref: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/34324131/ is now completely out of date :( , but the concept itself has been improved and developed (worry not!)

The current work in progress doc is here, I will likely be making adjustments and adding stuff based on comments/new concepts or pictures, etc over time. So feel free to contribute! Any question is a valid question, any suggestions of critic or changes will be considered! I really want this to be a community project rather than just my interests being represented since I know many of you have all shown interest. Thank you.~
