It's still kinda funny to me how Burt, who was a relatively minor side character in the original film, really took over and shaped the entire franchise. Even in the second film, he wasn't as sharply in focus as Earl and Grady. I suppose that just stands as a testament to Michael Gross's strength as an actor, and how an interesting character can really grab the audience's attention.

The original Tremors will always be my favorite, though Aftershocks is a close second. Monster movies are always a bit more fun when the monsters are more of a mystery to the cast, I think. That and the dynamic between Val and Earl is just such fun.

Of the newer films, probably no. 7 is my favorite of those, though no. 5 is pretty strong. But that's all I'll say, so as not to spoil anything. If you're a fan of the franchise, they're all worth checking out, most certainly.

I never saw the TV show. I gather that's kind of an old shame that's been buried, since I don't think you can get it anywhere. Though that may have changed since last I checked.

They made an absurd number of Tremors movies. I only ever watched the first four, but every once in a while I'll hear mention of Tremors sequel number X, Y, or Z, and I was like they're still going?? Lol.

All direct to DVD I think, and no store I know of ever carried them. I'll give 'em credit for sticking with the franchise so long, even if no one knew they had made them.

Seven, to date, and all were/are on Hulu I believe. That's where I watched them. I think they did way better on streaming services than DVDs/physical media.

Yeah, I only knew of the last 3 when they were offered digitally. Thank goodness for Bundle deals.

I was still holding out for Graboids in Space but then it mightve gotten silly by then.
