I'm thinking of going to Anthrocon but I have yet to go-to one yet. Just a few anime conventions here and there.

Go big or go home as they say. Anime cons sounds pretty cool, bet you see some AMAZING cosplays at them.

Oh yes there are some amazing ones and some very horrible ones. You'll even see quite a few furries at them as well

lol, have to respect that they tried even for the horrible ones.
I'm surprised furries show up to anime cons, in theory it sounds like they'd kind of be out of place but perhaps not so much in practice? Either way it's surely worth celebrating that furries are accepted enough to make that a thing that happens.

I work with a guy that is super into FFXIV cons and cosplaying, it's nice to know there's at least one person that might be more accepting than the average poorly-informed but otherwise net-savvy types if someone figured out I was furry.
