So to be honest, things have definitely been better.

It's getting harder to get in the right headspace to write as I'm admittedly slowly sinking into a financial hole. Ever since my wife's unemployment ran out things have been getting more stretched.

HOWEVER, something interesting happened.

I applied for two promotions at work and was passed over for both. Then the management came to me with an opportunity they hadn't even announced yet, and they already have me working that schedule while the promotion itself is pending.

They pay increase would be SUBSTANTIAL, and finally making progress again has me in a better headspace and trying to catch up on my projects. Should hopefully have some more good news before too much longer, and will definitely have some more stories coming out in the coming weeks.
