Wolf Charity Art Event!

Good question! The Wolf Moon Festival is a canid-themed art event to raise awareness and funding for wolf conservation and research endeavors through the power of furry artwork! The event will last for one month, until July 1st, during which my commissions containing canines will be 10% off and half of all proceeds will be donated to my wolf organization of choice, The Voyageurs Wolf Project. This is something I would like to do routinely and involve others in as well, so if you are an artist who would like to join the cause, please let me know, and I’ll add you to the participating artists section!
The Voyageurs Wolf Project is a research project conducting in-depth research on the ecology of wolves by studying wolf packs within Minnesota, USA. They study wolves’ diet, behavior, predation, pup survival, pack dynamics, their effect on prey - not just in numbers but behavior - and the ecosystem at large, and how this all changes throughout the year. They have made many breakthroughs in their research and documented novel wolf behavior that has never been captured before, most notably on their relationship with beavers. Their work is incredible! Their contributions to wolf studies and ecology are considerable, but they are in need of funding and will not be able to continue their research without it.
I have been following the project for a long time and greatly admire it, I feel it’s only right to do what I can to help them.
Firstly, thank you! My terms of service and commission info can be found here, and after filling out the form I will reach out and get an invoice to you! You may either pay in full and I will donate what I have raised for a reveal at the end of the event, or you may choose to donate the half yourself here and submit proof to me for payment, or make your donation public with "Wolf Moon Festival" in the donation message and some kind of signifier that it was you (such as your username or a shorthand of it included in the donation message as well). This option may be preferable as they are giving away stickers to those who donate! Please also look through other participating artists below and consider commissioning them! Commissioning art is also not required to help either, if you can I encourage you to donate $5 (their minimum donation amount), every bit helps :3
Want to join the pack? If you would like to participate, just send me a note and I’ll add you here! You do not have to raise money for Voyageurs Wolf Project, you can choose any wolf organization you like :3 You will be expected to share proof of your donations, or for organizations that have public donations, make yours public with the message "Wolf Moon Festival" and some kind of signifier that it was by you (such as including your username or a shorthand of it in the donation message as well) if you would rather that instead. All donations will be tallied and added to the total amount raised!
The Voyageurs Wolf Project is not the only organization doing important work for wolves! I also wanted to showcase others you may want to donate to, or who other participating artists may choose to support for this event.
