Will be attending my first Convention.

It took a lot of persuasion from my coworker who is a big anime fan to convince me but I gave in and decided to attend an Anime/Cosplay convention called Bold Matsuri that is being held nearby. I'll be tagging along with her and taking my hun Scrappy as his birthday happens just before the con. Had to take two days off so I will be holding off on buying anymore kits to save up for stuff.
Already got the tickets for the weekend. Trying to save for spending money. Aside from that, I have no idea what to expect. Its my co-workers first con too so we have no idea what we should expect. But after trying to look up videos on YT for hints I stumbled across this gem.
I hope I encounter Bane Armstrong/Buff Nezuko/Dora the Destroyer at the con. I think he puts Man Faye to shame. ^_^
So are there any con goers who have any tips on what and what not to do before we go?
