Done with commissions
General
For the past 5 years, I've been doing commissions basically non-stop. Now that I've worked through my queue, I'm going to take a break from commissions for an indeterminate amount of time to work on some personal projects.
I have one or two comics I'd like to finish and post, a host of ideas I've written down here and there I'd like to try to turn into art (including animations, which I want to practice more), a new Saturday game is starting soon that I'd like to be able to draw the fuckery we get up to, and above all, I just want to take some time to practice my skills and prevent stagnation. I've been drawing a long time, but lately I worry I haven't been leaving my comfort zone enough to experiment and grow as an artist. I hope to change that with this break.
Thank you to everyone who commissioned me with your fun and cool ideas. I will open again in the future--maybe later this year.

Burn out sucks, focusing on your own projects is important and I respect the angle of "wanting to get better before offering my services", even though you are already super good.
