Hello friends!
How are you all liking the comic so far? It was a project
mysticdragon01 and I had been kicking around for a while, and then finally started sketching up and discussing in earnest in May of 2023. It's been incredibly fun to do all these cool crazy action panels, and even more fun to show off our hard work to all of you. With any luck, it'll go on for a very long time.
I wanted to take the opportunity to formally credit mysticdragon01 's part in the comic, as I'm sure some people aren't totally aware of his involvement. He does most of the storyboarding, he helps write dialogue (especially for Vauruk), helps outline the plot, and does all the colors and cool effects. Also, Vauruk is his character, in case that wasn't obvious. The comic would not exist without him! Or at least it would be pretty shit lol
Hope you all enjoy what's to come. I'm still weaving commissions between comic pages, so plenty of those coming as well. Thank you all so much for reading our comic and leaving all the fun comments, I read every single one. Stay safe and eat lots over the holidays!

Very cool project !
I personally wanna see the brutality of fights, as well as the slight drama that come with them. It's why I love DBZ so much...well mainly the Saiyan saga where it was about actual fighting technique, and not just who can punch harder than the other, or gets a conveniently forced power boost cause their friend died, and the villain was unstoppable. :P
Kaioken looked so cool, that when I found a cover of "Rock the Dragon", I immediately thought that if transformations had their own theme song during combat, THIS song right here, would fit for Kaioken! It just gives off that energy of "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE! I'M GONNA BEAT YOU SENSELESS!!" Just pure kamikaze energy!

I would at least say that the Z Fighters would have had an easier time dealing with the Androids if King Kai taught them what he taught Goku when they were all dead and on his planet. It's a neat thought for an alternate universe.
It was very cool tl see that it's a duo project and how it goes from storyboard to page.
Also very happy to hear it's gonna go on for a while and I hope you both keep on enjoying this project.
And yep, we'll keep working on this thing as long as the two of us are enjoying it!

I kinda love how out-matched Vauruk was.
Dovak literally beats Vauruk to a pulp. I wonder if he can ever recover from that.
But I guess we're running with anime logic here, so anything can happen, right?
