Overwhelmed (gotta slow down and deal with irl stuff)
Okay so here's the spiel
let's see! So to those who've commissioned from me and are still waiting. I'm sorry for the long wait, and that you all are gonna have to wait longer. Life has been putting on new challenges this year that I did not expect and its really reduced my art drive. Such challenges are exemplified but not limited to:
1. My mother had Brain cancer, we caught it stupidly early thanks to the many dogs she and dad have, but her coordination and other skills she will be in therapy for for at least 2 years. this requires me doing household chores not only for my house but for my parents as well. so double chores making taking care of things that much harder.
2. My employing company has no respect, they've been making life harder ever since our union forced them to give us a lot last contract and part of their temper tantrum was extending our shift an extra half hour while gas lighting us about how it was this way for everyone pre-virus (total bullshit I know) so now i have even less time on that front during the week and even less energy to really do much, but I'm trying to get some commission work done wherever I can, even while the soap soaks.
3. a community project due July 1st for a free game called AMC Squad is currently taking priority and has got me the most stressed at this moment. luckily since its not a very long time away, this should clear up naturally and I can shift my focus back to arting more rather than trying to build my first ever video game map in the build engine.
4. weather conditions, economics and other irl circumstances. if any of you were east of Appalachia last week, we had a heat wave, its teetering off up here but the effect it's had on me is gonna linger until it fully falls off. economics deals with a bit of the first point in this list, I need to make sure I'm doing what I need to do since I'm going have to be more hands on with my money, moving bills, literally having to drive to pay for water/sewer utilities, and electrical usage. stress from this is weighing on me.
so in that case I ask for everyone to understand that commissions will be slower during this time, I'm going to continue to try my best to get the art out to everyone who'd paid so really all I ask is for patience please ^^; but as for now to make sure my work load doesnt get any bigger, i will not be accepting new commissions any time soon
