need help with Story thumbnails

So I am having a issue with stories as I have been trying to add thumbails to my story so they might get some more traction but for some reason when I search up my own story the thumbnail is super small and when I click on my story it says "image not found"
Can anyone tell me why that is happening and how to fix it or is it just a FA thing?

Hmm, may be a quirk of the upload being a .txt file? I usually upload as .PDF and then put a plaintext copy of the story in the description, which lets the thumbnail (which I upload as .PNG) show even when clicked.

oh that makes sense, considering that it just made me remember something I did that tells me that is case. thank you very much for that that really helps :)

hey coming back to say I tried the new PDF format and it didn't work still, is it possible that the thumbnail only works correctly when you first post something?
