Definitely a fun topic. I guess I'd focus on defining what you mean by macro. Is one or both of the parents macro sized? Are the parents normal but they size of the pup(s) are really large? Or is it all "normal size" but it's just an exceptionally high number of pups in the litter?

what I defined by macro is both parents still being the same size with some hyper parts and the number of pups inside them reaches a Marco level

Gotcha. Well, at a high level, the questions I'd probably ask myself to get things started would be:

- What's the relationship/dynamic between the two parents? Will it change over time?
- Is there a specific reason behind why they're capable of producing so many offspring? If so, will it even further increase over time?
- How quickly will the pregnancy progress? Over a long/normal period with time skips? Will it shorten with subsequent litters (if they have more litters)?
- In what ways will such a large pregnancy affect them? Will one dad be helping the other over the course of it? Will those outside their family also take notice/comment/react in any way?

A few initial thoughts. Those, along with the obvious of what species/time period/setting etc, are good places to start forming an idea of what you'd be wanting to create

I see, those makes sense I think for me I can handle most of these as they came cause I know the ways I like writing a story but since this is not something I think about normally I can't think of any good story mcguffins to make the hyper and marco have a reason to happen in the story and a way to give it a good ending cause I always perfer a ending where everything works out at the end but concept is a hard one to wrap my head around for such a ending

I see - well some more general ideas for why they're so compatible might be:

- Medical, so like a fertility serum working far better than it should have
- Supernatural, so maybe a wish come true, a magic spell, etc
- Natural causes, like maybe in your universe species A and species B have never bred because they're mortal enemies, but it turns out the one pair of the two species that managed to reconcile their differences showed how much more powerful love can be than hatred as they breed and reproduce at an unnatural rate

And as for "everything works out in the end", I usually like the idea of "many hands make light work", where as their numbers increase, they're able to solve their problems through the sheer number of them that exist. Such a massive construction team, number of farmers, those interested in agriculture etc

I see that makes sense and those do seem like the best options, as from some of your stuff I looked through recently I was thinking of fertility pills but wasn't sure how to write a situation where and why my characters would have them so the other choices sound good too

and a colony that creates and supports itself sounds like a good idea I have also been tempted around the idea of a world where this kind of marco pregnancy is common and normal but I am not sure if there is a way to make this concept normal where couples all over the world make thounds of kids all the time

I personally like the idea of the excessively high fertility being unique to the main characters, so can't say I've given much thought into the idea of it being more normal/widespread. Maybe the "father"/giver starts knocking up more and more people could be a way of going about it. Otherwise I'm not sure 🤷‍♂️

that is another good idea could do well some harem concepts I was thinking of making with this idea so that is something to keep in mind, but also the unique to the couple thing does make the most sense as well, yeah I think this is all I need to start writing them unless you have some extra tidbits like ideas you would like to see you normally don't in other works or any Marco prompts I could use
