Hello everyone. My twitter account was just suspended.
This came as a shock to me as well and I'm quite sad about it.
In the email I got it says that I was banned due to user reports of "evading suspension". Which really doesn't make sense. I have never been banned before on this or any other account so it really seems to be a wrongful suspension. Maybe someone kept falsely reporting me or something... :(

When I got suspended I was using a downloader tool that sometimes kept logging in to my account. I have done it many times in the past and I use it because I can't scroll very far back manually on twitter.
The frequent log-ins has locked the account before, but this could usually be resolved by completing a captcha. This is very different as it is a permanent suspension.

It might be something along the lines of the downloader kept trying to log me in despite the account being locked which triggered them to think I was trying to avoid the lock. But I doubt that is the case. Either way I don't think I was breaking any rules.
I think it's just a wrongful suspension, especially since it says it was due to user reports.

I have submitted an appeal through support and I really hope that they will see that this was a mistake and allow me to come back.
