S.T.A.R Verse Universe Building: Star Command

Star Command is an independent Peace keeping force that’s Headquarters are located in the Alpha quadrant but have based spread through both the Alpha and Beta quadrants.
Star Command was started by a group of independent planets that either couldn’t or wouldn’t join the federation but still wanted a group that could provide aid to them without having to rely on Starfleet. Star Command’s main roles include Peacekeeping and Law enforcement. They are able to do this as they aren’t officially orientated with a specific group. They do have treaty’s signed with most of the major groups in both the Alpha and Beta quadrants including the Federation, Klingon Empire, Kree Empire and Cardassian Union just to name a few. This allows them to act in areas that other party’s are unable to, for example when the Demilitarised zone was created between the Federation and Cardassian’s Star Command was still allowed to enter freely into this area.
The current head of Star Command is Commander Zeb Nebula a human, who has been apart of the organisation for over 40 years with 20 of those as Commander. The most well know current Ranger is Captain Buzz Lightyear head of team Lightyear, which includes the princess of Tangea as well as Star Commands first droid.
Like other Para-Military groups in the galaxy Star Command has a rank structure that is made up of:
Commander
Deputy Commander
Captain
Lieutenant
Sargent
Corporal
Ranger
Cadet
