Oh god... FedEx. Personal experience, they're absolute garbage, though I've never actually had a situation where they've stolen a package, just ones where they've repeatedly refused to deliver and RTS'd (with confirmation from the seller that they received the RTS'd package and would ship out again through a different carrier).

Check the location of the package, there's a couple areas within their network that are considered "black holes" where packages can end up delayed by weeks or even months.

When I was building my PC back in 2020, Fed Ex was chosen to ship my monitor. I was waiting a long while for it to show up on my front porch, only to check back on my E-mail to see that it had already been delivered... on the SIDE porch all that time. Luckily, it was still there when I got it, but boy did I feel dumb for assuming.

All I can say now is check your package status often and thoroughly.

As someone who works at FedEx as a package handler who unloads packages from the semi trailers, I must pronounce that whoever purloined your precious package ought to be punished and pounded to pieces perpetually as they have pissed and puked on the purple promise, plus the police will probably be after them. But there is always a possibility that your package probably ended up in “quality assurance” (sometimes when a package gets damaged accidentally or if there’s something in the package that’s leaking or broken, it gets put in a little yellow bin and sent to a closed off shelf area where it can be looked up to see if it can be supplanted by a new package), if it’s not there then I don’t know what to tell you. Not all of us are “dumb shits” (even though I have a few coworkers that may tend to be from time to time), most of us FedEx employees (that I know of, can’t say the same for other facilities because one day just recently someone in another facility apparently took a dump in the semi trailer some other coworkers of mine were assigned to work in. Maybe the person who took the dump in the trailer was refused the right to take a bathroom break.) are just hard working law abiders trying their absolute best to make the world go round. The trailers we unload get very hot in the summer and because of this we sometimes have to suffer in silence, you have to understand that we are humans too. And even if protected by a thick skull, the human brain is still very fragile and horrible things can happen to it under certain conditions. I am sorry that great displeasure has happened to you and I will bring this journal to the attention of my managers when I come in to work tomorrow morning. But don’t worry, whoever has wronged you will be punished gravely(I hope…).
