End of Summer 2024
As per usual, I'm beginning my work-year very soon and likely won't have time for art for a while. Although I have been doing this for 10 years now since 2013 the first couple of weeks is always the hardest especially in establishing a consistent routine and making sense of any changes to rules or procedures in my profession. Needless to say, it's a very stressful time and it is difficult to relax and focus on art without a looming sense of dread on the horizon.
It's usually not as bad as I'm making it out to be and I'm sure once I get going with the routine everything will go well and I'll calm down, but the stress and anxiety remain nonetheless.
Naturally, my art consistency / speed will decrease as I adjust to the schedule. This will be most noticeable in the month of August as I'll be spending a lot of my time planning so I have more free time later. By September everything should be taken care of.
