It feels absolutely surreal that I'm even making a journal about this. I can't believe he is gone. Dragoneer drove my passion for fursuiting when I was first getting started in the fandom. I didn't know too many people and a couple of friends introduced me to Dragoneer at my first convention which was Anthrocon 2009. He was the nicest guy and he shared the same oddball sense of humor as I did. Over the course of a year I made so many amazing friends though Dragoneer. I was absolutely honored when he asked if I wanted to be the Fender fursuiter. Once I became Fender, I started doing more and more things within the fandom that I never thought I'd be able to do. I joined the FA:United staff, I started hosting fursuit games and charity auctions. Being up on stage as Fender with Dragoneer made me feel like a rock star and making him laugh was the best thing in the world. Dragoneer really kickstarted everything for me and pushed my performing and creativity to places I never thought possible and I can't thank him enough for that. Rest in peace dear friend and thank you for all the amazing memories.
