Well I've been telling myself I should do some sort of journal introduction for a few days now, and here we are, finally doing it. I'm new to this site and honestly pretty new too the furry community at least in the sense of trying to be active and find community in it. Hi I'm Birdy, I'm a trans woman just trying to get by in life and make things a little better around as I go. I'm 32 and currently in the midwest though the mountains will always have my heart. Professionally, I've been everything from a bus driver to a museum writer and generally I just consider myself a naturalist who enjoys when people experience something cool in nature for the first or 300th time.

I'm a very unconfident artist, trying to build her portfolio and get to a point where Im at least consistent enough where I feel like I could take commissions. I'm also a leatherworker slowly building experience in making cosplay, kink, and bdsm gear because its just a lot of fun.

My sona also goes by Birdy and is a Secretary Bird. She can be a lot of fun and I'm hoping someday to commission a suit of her. Till then, I can just get better at doing art of her.

Anyway It's nice to be here, and hopefully I can meet some really cool people and find some good community while I'm here.
