Bad Habits
I've come to realise that I have a bad habit of reaching out to an artist regarding commissions, only to then forget I've done that. I was going through my Twitter (I refuse to call it 'X' because that's a dumb fucking name) messages and noticed that I'd reached out to a couple of artists some time ago regarding projects. Granted, these conversations didn't progress beyond me asking for details regarding prices and such, so no actual work had begun, and no money had exchanged hands, but I know that it can still be frustrating for the artists and I can't help but feel bad about it. This is certainly a bad habit and one that I need to work on breaking sooner rather than later.
Just know that if I've reached out to you and have not responded for a while, it's not deliberate; my memory is atrocious, and I am easily distracted.
So yeah, that's my bad habit. I figured I'd speak about it here because the only other option was the local church's confessional booth, and I'm sure the priest has better things to do than listen to my goofy ass.
The Hackening
I'll admit that I don't really consider myself a member of the 'furry fandom' proper, and I've never really understood the hubbub that happens when FA is hacked, as it happens relatively often, but I agree that this most recent ordeal was in very poor taste, given the passing of the site's owner. I'm pleased that the site wasn't down for too long, however, and I find it hilarious that the perpetrator managed to get themselves doxxed and also piss off Kiwi Farms after attempting to flex the size of their e-dick despite being little more than a script kiddie with too much free time on their hands.
I've also heard rumours that they lost a lot of money, which would only make it funnier if that's true.
