FA Admins, PLEASE GIVE ONE CHANCE TO COMPLY
a year ago
We are not protesting the ban on content. FA can ban whatever content it wants and you know what? Fine, we'll abide by it, even if we disagree.
WHAT WE ARE PROTESTING IS THE ZERO COMMUNICATIONS BEFORE BAN part of the process. That's all we want. If any admin anywhere at any time doesn't like something or thinks it's violating rules, fine - even if we disagree with the decision on every level - fine. But at least give a WARNING or a NOTICE or a CHANCE for the artist to remove it before skipping right to suspension or ban!
You know how anyone finds out that something uploaded was decided that it violates policy? The ONLY way that anyone finds out?
They wake up banned. They wake up suspended. No chance to remove the offending upload.
And all that's left after? A "Do it again and you'll be permabanned" warning. As if the uploader is not allowed to EVER have a chance to comply. The only comeback is "You should have known better."
So, again, we're not protesting the decision by any mod or admin to declare something violates TOS. It's something we accept and are willing to live with.
BUT WE ABSOLUTELY DEMAND A REASONABLE CHANCE TO COMPLY ONCE THE DECISION IS MADE.
Arbitrary decisions by anonymous admins cannot be predicted. One admin can say it's fine and another admin at any time in the future can just say "nah" and then the artist is permabanned with zero steps between. Zero chance to comply. Zero chance to do anymore more than hope, wish, and fear.

FA+

I'm not a diaper fan myself, but on principle I'm completely flummoxed if this is true.

Apparently FA's mod team has decided that ABDL fans no longer have a place on this website. Place your bets now everyone; what fetish is the mod team gonna ban next? Macro? Paws? Fat? It's anyone's guess what the mods are gonna randomly decide violates the rules next.
If they made it so that a ticket was put out, and 3-5 admins had to agree, and a warning was given that allowed the poster to take it down or make their case, then it would make things a bit better.
I don't know. Give people a chance to comply!
Though 100% behind the 'let everyone know what you're thinking about before doing it' kind of thing as being blindsided by any sudden changes causes a LOT of problems.
Even during dragoneer's passing, it was a tragedy but i noticed something odd. I thought at first it was lack of awareness but i noticed myself some of the mods on the discord or other places, some of the neer drama was sad, nobody deserved to go out like that.
But i heard of people muted when they criticized speaking both good and bad, but the bad would all get deleted while the good left from the same person then the person poofed with the moderation system.
It's just a furry art community and i know some religious institutions that do worse to cover up live active physical cases.. But im not sure if that's a good thing. Im not really into diapers since of some VERY uncomfortable interactions with a fringe few. Not about adults expressing themselves but offering gift cards and saying. "Where else can you find a better [jesus christ some places religious or nonreligious or not really make basic 101s you find everywhere else seem taken for granted]"
I don't think i hate the furry community and go like some ex religion members going "I WILL SPEAK out for the REST OF MY LIFE", but i will raise a eyebrow, drink my coffee, cast jehovah witnesses repelling birthday parties and take a little bit of a mental vacation and examination over some of the more questionable 2/1000 relationships to things. Both religious and nonreligious/furfandom.
Like, i don't even think people are missing out on much either, i just got a few things here and there but im no mr rich mcgee and houses are expensive anyways. If i contributed like 30-200$ here and there and the other person was talking about 20$ gift cards and "but it's okay because they said ".. like... Religious place or not.. im FINE without everyone EVERYONE in my life.
Even if i thought that we should all have the sift welcome everyone in.
I do agree communication can definitely be 200% better, but the neverfurs /anti furs just post "LMAO NERD FIGHT NERD FIGHT" homelander.gifs to furry drama. There's 14-47 year old furs fighting over feet/diapers while working in office buildings and mcdonalds bathrooms.
Just im alright taking a sip back and watching. Maybe they have a point laughing and scarfing the popcorn down. We only live our good years what, 18-70? Might as well make them count vs argue with strangers online about the color of sonic's arms 42-60.
At least on sofurry, Toumal will be more than fair and even take down the offending content without you needing to do anything or be punished retroactively for stuff you made before the rule change.
