Power came back on yesterday afternoon, and the roads have been cleared of all the fallen trees, but there's still a lot of destruction here, and it's far worse in the mountains. Places I used to go to all the time in college are just... gone. And Asheville where I spent so much time with my dad at the VA is completely cut off in every way except by air. I have no idea how Cullowhee is doing either.
