Been a While!
a year ago
I have had so much going on in my life, I've been unable to create consistently for a couple years for a variety of reasons.
The rise of AI and peoples' reaction to it has been a huge morale sink; the general state of the world, a handful of health issues. Getting various anxieties under control. Just livin' life.
I'm picking things back up here, because I genuinely find this content cathartic and enjoyable. I have a backlog of ideas I've been sitting on that I think will be really hot and fun to explore.
And I think I've taken enough rest. It was a very good and necessary hibernation.
Most of my wisps of creative energy have been going into my tabletop games. But I've always felt anxious/awkward posting non-guro stuff here.
So after some thought, I've decided to make a second gallery and I'm going to split what I post!
I won't delete anything from here, but I'll be tidying up, moving my SFW stuff to my scraps.
And I'll be taking my favorite submissions and posting them to that second gallery:
The one thing I will keep outta my scraps are my designs -- if I ever make more of those I'd want to sell them here, not on my alt.
This is still definitely my main FA account, I'll conduct my business notes here and probably only check notifications on Gravewarden on a weekly basis. I'll make that obvious!

Goretober/October is my favorite time of year! Not only for the weather, but because so many artists that don't usually indulge in gore and bloody art seem comfortable to do so!
I like to encourage them and commission where I can!
I just finished reorganizing my gallery here -- I'll be getting some new stuff uploaded for y'all soon. Here's a wee preview!
Good point and your right with the artists and they accept the gory arts.
Snuff / Death is not everybodies taste, I can confirm it.
For me it is difficult, most of that arts I saw over the years or they are the same in different styles.
As for commissions I book you in November, I made a misstake last year and gave Rod Hanging in order, so people think I am gory only at October / Halloween.
For you I have a special Rod-Wire Device in my mind, and I love your Scalies you draw.
There are unknown and taboo kinks / fetishes, called "Organ torture" often to death. I miss arts on art websites in and out furry, scalie and avian fandom.
Music recommendations...? I've been looking into some Rock EDM fusion things. Feryquitous - Auxetic_Irony is the one that sticks out to me.
Not sure if it's Goretober related, but FoxySpike's Haunted House submission is really good

I've been listening to a lot of Alter Bridge and Nothing But Thieves!
I haven't been following any goretober lists this year, but every month is goretober for me. Even if I rarely, if ever upload kink art anymore. But I may change that soonish.
As for music recs: Gonna go with my homies Front Line Assembly, preferably their Epitaph and Implode Albums, Laibach, Opeth, Katatonia, and Jonathan Hulten

Yo, and that's exactly it!!! I love gore art. But it's only a facet of what I do these days! And on a personal level, it'll be nice to have a repository for all the tabletop art I make, for my tablemates who aren't into snuff themes to see! The hard/daunting part is now, deciding which pieces I want to upload and the monotony of writing descriptions!
WHAT A GOOD PROMPT LIST!!!! I've been hungering for a drawing challenge, maybe I cut out my least favorite prompt and turn it into what I do for November -- I know I want to do *something* at least!!
and on the hornier side im working on some drowning related commissions at the moment hehe
I really feel for the folks who cultivated that very painterly/concept styles or the semi-realistic anime look and then gen AI coming along.
as for music recs... Magdalena Bay, Everything Everything, Mothica, and Knocked Loose immediately come to mind
