I will be going to shiftercon, an online convention hosted on discord and VR chat.
I will be co-hosting the history of online TF panel with Comus.
And to be honest I would love some help. I was more concentrating on doing art and not paying attention to trends, so I only have a rough outline of what to talk about. Comus and I will be doing a lot of " what was your first TF?" After I run out of material to talk about.
Please share here things you remember about the early internet TF scene.
Thanks!

There was also a TF-focused web forum later on, but the less said about my role in that the better. I don't really remember the name of that place either. Uh, Eala Dubh was on there but that's about as much as I want to talk about it.
The earliest thing I do remember the name of is Altered Realities, aka TF-MUCK. It's a MUCK, obviously. Apparently it's still around, though I probably wouldn't remember my password (or possibly even username) on it. People would roleplay and socialize on there and there were also some fun scripted TF traps.
I guess I should scrounge up a simple MUD/MUCK client or whatever they call them now and try to check back in there sometime.
Horses were very popular back in the day for TF
Also cross scheduling David Mattingly with the Avians panel feels kinda silly.
