I don't think they are trying to sell, but rather the long drawn out war on babyfurs. I agree -18 NSFWis bad, but it feels like they are choosing the wrong battles. I have seen people having gallery folders for beastiality (sorry for the wrong spelling), but FA has always been more lenient on them and zoos, but massivly anti babyfur. Again any NSFW art of a group that can't consent is wrong for obvious reasons, but I feel FA should be straight forward with their definitions/what goes against the rules, and to be more fair with their dislike of some groups.

I am not a babyfur, but have known plenty. Really they just eant an escape more than anything. Can some of the art get questionable? Of course, but like with quadrupedal characters it isn't so cut and dry, or simple to judge weather the work is or isn't against policy, or even if the mod made a mistake, or may be biased against a section of the community. Were all human and make mistakes I just wish FA was more direct on what is and isn't against the rules.

I'm glad you and tons of other furs are saying this. It has nothing to do with children and it wasn't hurting anyone. Nuts to think it hasn't even been half a year since Dragoneers passing and these so called friends of his are gutting the site of some of it's top users and creators. Really hurts, not just because I've been drawing ABDL since I joined FA, but because I really thought this place would be the last furry safe space, away from these bad faith takes.

I'm only now getting caught up on this situation. I'm flummoxed. Given the post today apologizing for this whole debacle and going back to the drawing board, I guess they probably don't intend to sell the site. That we had to talk about this AGAIN doesn't really make me feel great about the community, though. Not that I expect the entire world to educate themselves about ABDL and other harmless roleplay fetishes, but like... admins/mods on a fetish art website should probably educate themselves and try to find the nuances.

The fact that it's 2024 and people are still largely unaware of how these communities work & how fetishes work is reflective of the average person's inability to comprehend kinks in general.
