Had top surgery on the 23rd, now recovering. It feels so surreal that the day finally came and went, and it's over. Granted I'm still on pain meds and very early on healing, but hey, it's looking very good so far (according to someone I know who is a nurse and saw my scars). Tomorrow the drains will be removed and hopefully the healing process won't be as painful... Looking forward to doing simple things again!
