I was taking a bit of a break from this website and have returned, with all sorts of renewed wackiness going on here on the old FA, I kinda wonder what the deal is and have been reading up on twitter but I guess I should probably check over new site posting rules and also I will have to make my galleries more up to day. What sofurry and weasyl still have content? Anyone out there know where the best posting sites are these days. I mean I cannot even get my twitter over 800 watchers. Truth is... I suck. LOL ok so ...

What APPEARS to have happened, according to the community:
A mod (most accuse Luffy if anyone) went rogue while Sciggles was in the hospital, banning all SFW babyfur and diaper artists they could find, including some who've been around since the beginning, and including a furcon's GUEST OF HONOR at the time!
Sciggles then halted the ticket system and put the discord into 2+ hour slow post, locked down the internal chats, and then just silence other than doxxing someone who made protest art. This was ALSO poorly received by the community and seen as hypocritical by some and a worse offense than protest art.
After a bit, two known bans were reversed by Sciggles personally, but no others have come forth to confirm and staff cannot confirm this either.
However, more bans were still occuring during this time, mostly now for supposed AI art. Several of these artists provided videos of them producing the drawings ON STREAM thus proving no AI was involved. The decisions have no been reversed, or explained, as of yet.
Then Sciggles announced that the new decision was a mistake, took personal responsibility of the situation and absolved Luffy of wrongdoing, and tentatively hinted that the AUP has and is being changed and shadowbans DID occur, due to supposed recent demands of advertisers.
Sciggles has most recently said they are now re-writing the AUP change to be more clear.
Meanwhile, twitter is passing notes that suggest a staff leak that FA has employed a private model AI to identify possible problematic images and identify possible AI images for immediate removal and account flagging/punishment as an automated process. Apparently this has an insanely high false positive rating and resulted in hundreds of removals before this whole fiasco was announced or became apparent. Noone at FA who will be named publicly has yet confirmed or denied these allegations.
Luffy then said the new AUP prohibits any form of diapers on children, even if SFW or no pornographic material. Sciggles has not directly confirmed this, but seems to suggest it will likely be the case.
Luffy has also stated that egg/ovi art will be banned, except in 'yoshi' style situations where the egg is either unfertilized or contains a fully formed adult inside. This decision was based on the 'life begins at conception' argument. Sciggles has since backtracked and stated this was a bad call by Luffy. Luffy then doubled down on the decision, and Sciggles re-confirmed that they were rewriting the AUP. No word as yet if the egg ban will remain shadowed, become official AUP policy, or just be reversed.
Sciggles also confirmed in a discord post that these 'new' rules were already in effect and being used, but not publicly announced. Sciggles also claimed Dragoneer originally was involved in and planned the change, but others including staff have hinted they in fact had an opposing stance to what FA seems to now be presenting.
Sciggles has brought two known babyfurs onto staff. However they have expressed great distress at being steamrolled and not given a voice.
Discord has also produced proof of coordinated bad actor efforts, likely including an FA staffer, to produce a 'hit list' of babyfurs and 'undesireables' to coordinate a mass reporting effort to either trick mods into lazy moderation as per current policy and lack of internal communication, or to trick the supposed AI system into overmoderating. FA staff have confirmed a bad actor was involved in a coordinated strike and that action has been taken.
Sciggles has personally denied the following allegations:
1) The site is not being 'sanitized' in order to sell to another entity, IE the IMVU thing
2) The site is not banning babyfurs or ABDL, but much of their artwork is no longer allowed.
3) The site is not closing.
And confirmed:
1) Anyone attacking the GFM, doing chargebacks, or maliciously cancelling FA will be banned, zero tolerance, as this affects staff and Dragoneer's family.
2) A bad actor was involved with mass reporting users.
Those opposing the ban are afraid, and those supporting are calling for banning a WIDE variety of more, feeling motivated now. Which has caused a full blown internal and external heated fight.
Making sure to use multiple hard drives and multiple devices. What is here today might be gone tomorrow, literally!!!
Everyone is quitting FA staff over this.
