Overall, there are almost zero instances of anything like that happening in the US recently. The 2020 election, for instance, was proven to be one of our most highly scrutinized and accurate counts ever.

The legendary vote corruption of Chicago comes to mind. It got so bad that all the other county clerks in the state will not file their results until cook county did. As for the 2020 elections, every lawsuit filed over questionable activities got stonewalled by much better DNC lawyers and sympathetic judges, so the investigation and discovery process never happened. The best you can say is not proven. The Republican lawyer teams learned and won't be making the mistakes they did last time.

Well, evidently a large number of judges also rejected the claims. In fact, when asked, directly, whether the lawyers attempting to overturn election results were asserting that there had been fraud in the election, they said "No." It is grounds for disbarment for a lawyer to lie to a judge, so they KNEW there was nothing to support their allegations, and they wanted to preserve their law license. Had there been any credible evidence of intentional malfeasance, they would have presented it, to avoid the humiliation of the sixty court cases they lost on merits.

It's a shame that Trump's lawyers didn't have the amazing evidence that you seem to possess. It would have made all the difference in their cases, which they were completely unable to support.

It's also pretty funny how many of those judges were Republicans and Drumpf appointees.

I never said that there has never been any election interference. It was clear that I was talking about there being no remotely significant interference on behalf of Biden against Drumpf in '20. It was one of the most secure elections in history, and there's absolutely zero proof anywhere that it was stolen from him.

Just referring to the 'Swing States,' there are THOUSANDS of proven examples of election interference/corruption, but gathering all of it and then presenting the receipts/proofs to any Court not controlled/governed by 'The other side/'X'' to blatantly ignore w/o even reviewing it, is all the proof those who were actually there, awake, paying attention during election day (Night, especially the 'Night'), were aware of.
Some of these States traitorously violated THEIR OWN STATE CONSTITUTION(s).

That so much happened, is known/proven to have happened, yet not a single person responsible for any of it, is precisely why the thinking % of the American People have zero trust in (This, esp.) Govt., their Courts, or any of their cutely named/titled alphabet soup agencies of Law Enfarcement (Something I'm frankly getting tired of typing, but the truth is the truth, so my fingers will just have to endure it.).

The facts and truth are out there, and quite easy to find. All you have to do is actually look them up.

I'll give you, and anyone else, whether they agree with you or me on this, a really good hint: There's a thing called media literacy, or critical media literacy. It's an invaluable tool to help us determine truth from lies, disinformation, misinformation, and propaganda. It should be taught to kids starting by, say, middle school age, and anyone who doesn't know about it yet owes it to themselves to study it.

It helps anyone to regard any source critically. Sure, it takes more work, but the truth is its own reward.

Corruption in Chicago also has nothing to do with this. That didn't effect anything outside of Chicago, or possibly Illinois. The heyday of that wasn't recent, either. And it certainly wasn't about national elections.

I really hope it all goes smoothly. Texas is ground zero for all sorts of threats to the vote. Maybe only second to Georgia.

Good on you, putting your money (time & effort, that is), where your mouth is! If we had more upstanding citizens like you, we wouldn't be having these electoral problems in the first place.

It's difficult to volunteer/Staff an election site, when the govt. has permanently closed them down.

Not all of us are passively observing what's going on, sitting on our hands and doing nothing/ignoring it.

I really miss having voting in person. My state only does mail in or drop off boxes which have their own challenges.

But the number one thing I miss about in person voting were the bake sales happening at the same location.

I do not miss in person. It's a business day and I never had a boss that would give any leeway to employees trying to vote. You could lose your job by playing hookie. It's almost like they didn't want their slaves exercising any rights.

My state requires employers to give employees two hours off so they can vote. Unpaid, of course.

Unpaid! Such luxury. I'm sure the voting lines are shorter than two hours every day in every precinct (including travel to and from work).

I always wait for election day, and vote at a polling place. sometimes new information comes in, particularly regarding more local issues.

Which state are you in? I'm in California and we can choose between many options to file our ballots.

Yeah, same here. I'll be working in the polling area, but don't know what my job will be. Part of me is expecting trouble, but it's usually pretty boring. The biggest issue I had last time was a guy who was upset because the ballot was bilingual.

Take care. Not the same country but a part of the members of my family had been in voting committees and its a small nightmare in any country. Even when everything had come with peace and in order, just the preparations cause lots of unexpected troubles.

Hi! Today's my sixth day as a poll deputy (basically working at the door to the polling place for early voting). We had about 1700 today. My last day's Saturday, and I'm guessing 1900 or more.

That's a bunch! The early voting location where we voted (because I don't want to do it on election day) had over 500 by midday.

The location here is a city-owned event hall (we've got the smaller venue upstairs). My job is basically to open the door, smile and greet people, superintend the mail-in ballot drop box, and direct people to the stairs or the elevator.

We hit a record of 1959 back on Tuesday. My dogs aren't barking any more; they just whimper.

Those are some serious numbers. I'll have to see how many we do on Election Day where I'm at. All I know is I'll be dead by the time we close up shop. Usually about 15 hours every general election. I'm taking Wednesday off to recover. So I hope your dogs recover soon. ;)

I have a plan. Ibuprofen and Ben-Gay tonight, same after work tomorrow, and soak my feets Sunday morning before brunch.

Oh, the bathtub will be filled with hot water Tuesday night and I'll soak for about 45 minutes when I get home to try and work out my legs and back. And even though I'm not allowed to drink anymore, I will have a double-double of my best Crown Royal.

I have shopping planned when I'm done with brunch, mainly to have fruit and mixers to go with various items in my bar.

Here's one thing I'll grant the past decade-of-politics: It has woken many people up, and caught their attention on what govt. & 'Crew' are doing/plan to do next (Either Party, it's the same sentiment).

I consider this a good thing hailing from a LOT of bad things, and can only hope by default, will result in good thing happening to fix stuff.

(That's the eternal Optimist in me. I feel I need to murder it again, but have learned it just reincarnates!)

No political adverts on the premises, regardless of the side, that includes hats, shirts, and signs... But also be safe... At least two reported instances of poll workers have been assaulted by Trumpers for asking them to remove their adverts... They did let them vote... But that kind of violent reaction makes me worry about people like you who are doing a justice from the bottom of your heart.
