Someone on BluSky described Mastodon as "Twitter with HOAs." I got a content warning over a recent post. I'm in my late 30s, so I have no care or time to play petty power trip games with the undersocialized, so I deleted my Mastodon account. Here's what I said, so judge it for yourself:

"The more I see of the voter disenfranchisement efforts that happen in the American political system, the more I agree with our Australian electoral system with compulsory voting."

If my milquetoast of milquetoast takes gets a warning, they have issues. For example, their asking for content warnings on food photos should have been a red flag enough. I want a place to hang with friends, not over-moderated slop.
