Take all the time ya need dude. 😊 I already followed ya on bluesky, so I'm good there. I've honestly been up and down lately. Been super busy with work and been lacking the passion to draw. I've been hoping to draw (and possibly animate) more lately, but my brain has been so blank. I legit felt like quitting on drawing after taking a one month break. But I'm still going. I'm hoping things are going okay for you too despite everything that's going on too Maz. Hopefully things will get better and settle down in the future.

As for me, as far as FA is concerned I’ve never felt more alive! I’ve been posting an epic NNN sequence, and posted two even more epic fetish stories. I have a tiny, yet devoted handful of followers, and it’s getting stronger as November rolls on.

It’s completely scripted, mostly drawn, and updates with daily posts until December. It’s taught me a surprising amount about digital art, and I may carry those skills into my non-fetish work, too. Also, it means sequences will be easy for me now, seeing as though I’ll have soon completed a 30+ part monster.

why are so many artists shilling it and trying to force their audiences on it lol

i asked two people this and neither ever responded so i'll try again with you (or anyone else who sees this):

give me a genuine reason as to how bsky is at all better than twitter in any capacity and why we should abandon a site we've used and grown on for years
for supposed greener pastures

Not trying to force my audience into anything. I'm just saying that I'm adding it to my posting cycle. I still plan to post on Twitter and FA as usual. Just an extra way to view my work.

Bluesky I feel is still developing and still needs a lot more time for folks to warm up to the app. It isn't perfect, but compared to Twitter, I feel it is a way safer place for folks to post and share their thoughts. It feels much more of its own thing rather than Elon's platform that's slowly shifting a lot of policies I don't agree with (blocking policy, priority to checkmarks, etc...). To more directly answer your question, Bluesky is a much cleaner and easier site to use. It doesn't have the trending tab to divert attention away from what we love and it allows us to focus on our followers and community. Just one of many reasons I feel Bluesky is the preferred site to use going forward.

Again, I never said anything about abandoning it, nor do I want to tell people to not use the app, its your choice in the end. Personally, I have found that Bluesky has been better for my mental health compared to Twitter, hence why I plan to add it as one of my posting platforms.

seriously though, i don't see how it's "safer" either. it's such a vague thing to say honestly i don't see what you mean by that

i'd say current twitter is honestly way "safer" for sharing opinions too compared to pre-elon and bsky

because of how niche bsky is right now it's honestly becoming a weird hugbox (like cohost, pillowfort, etc.) and the only thing i see as an advancement (or detriment) it has over twitter is being able to do blocklists easier and hiding people's qrts if they disagree with you. everything else is either unfinished or nonexistent there.

also the trending tab thing. i don't get the problem with that. it's literally called the trending tab of course people would want to look at it more than fatfur art lol it's literally called trending -- like keep in mind twitter is a social media site first and foremost. most mfs are going to be more interested in what's the current happening's than our doodles.

with that said, sure you aren't "abandoning it" but i wouldn't be surprised if you do eventually and im honestly kind of generalizing what im saying to every person that shills the site cuz most of them do say they're moving to bsky and deleting their twitter. what's unfortunate (and kinda funny) is that the AI change that made people scared and want to leave was toggleable so mfs that deleted their entire media gallery fucked themselves over a fear and bsky ironically runs all their posts through MetaAI which makes this all ironic

i simply think people acting like bsky is this bastion of good (or better than twit) is delusional. especially since the same people that apparently make twitter unsafe is on bsky. it's like you're jumping into one dumpster into another, except that other one is way smaller and has holes in it. also the site is just so unpolished lol

i also just don't see value in doing it. especially since everyone is just splitting your audience more and more by adding another site you're posting the same content on (except in this case it's to the same people on twitter so really what is the point)
