Brittany Murphy died on Sunday because she was a junkie whore who couldn't handle the "pressure" of being famous or some other some such bullshit that I'm sure the media is going to spoon feed us. Well you know what? I'm fucking sick of it. The media acting like some junkie who offed herself with drugs is some great tragedy is getting a bit of an old dead horse to keep beating. Sure her friends and family are going to be sad about her passing, why wouldn't they? They actually KNEW her. But people who knew her only from her roles in film that are TRULY affected by her passing, need to eat a bag of heavily salted dicks. It's like everyone who was sad when the King of Pedos died. Hell I felt like screaming and crying too...because I'm a loud emotional drunk when I'm celebrating, you see. Maybe I just have a hard heart (I do) or maybe I'm just an asshole (I am) but I really couldn't work out any way to be any more indifferent to the passing of some chick I didn't know. The thing that DOES get me worked up over all this bullshit is that just because you watched someone give a mid-rate rapper a fake handjob on a big screen at the movies, they're suddenly more important to you than the other people you've never met.

That is the number of people that die every day on average according to the Census. Do you care that much about all of them? Certainly not. And probability would state that at least ONE of those people was a genuinely good person, who gave of themselves to charity to the point of doing without for themselves. At least ONE of those people were someone's father or mother maybe even a beloved grandfather or grandmother. Maybe it was a young child, eyes filled with wonder at the world and what could be before a bus ran him over, sending his gray matter to the opposite side of the street that it should be on. And maybe...just maybe...that one of them gave Eminem a REAL handjob. May or may not have been recorded though. But do you post a blog about them each day? Lamenting the loss of the British woman you never met or knew the name of that gave Keith Richards some amazing head in the 70s? Certainly that's worth more than a fake handjob on Eminem? Seriously, WHAT OTHER MOVIES WAS SHE IN!?
