2024 Recap + Art Incoming

Aight, so folks are busy with all the holiday prep going on, so gonna keep this as quick n' dirty as possible (heh ~)
Gonna be posting my big ol' art backlog starting today. Will be posting a couple pieces a day every day through the holidays to make up for my long hiatus.
Will also be posting these to my Bluesky page, so feel free to follow me there if you like. Got tired of Twitter a while ago, all the spam, scams and crap was just exhausting, and with... y'know, let's call it "Recent events" it sure as hell wasn't getting any better.
Haven't been actively commissioning as much due to life situation. Moved to the US about 6 months back, got married (Yeah I know, I'm surprised too)
Still waiting for paperwork to clear so I can get a work permit before I'm allowed to go job-hunting. But I've got plenty of ideas I want to draw or get-drawn in the new year, revisit some old OC's, hoping to touch up some old sketches and get them all pretty'd up and presentable.
Currently a little under the weather, but hopefully I'll heal up in time for Xmas.
So aside of all the holiday prep and busywork, I've got time to share all the stuff I've been sitting on for the past like.. I wanna say 2 years? So far I've got 50 pieces ready to go, already written up titles, tags and descriptions for 'em all, just gotta post them.
So yeah, that's where I'm at.

But yeah! Great to hear you've had a few up turns despite it all, and will definitely look for your bsk and follow over there XD (as yeah, twitter is and has always been a dung heep, so not really worth going onto anymore xD). Good stuff all around! :3 Here's hoping that continues!
(and not much to report over here, work, games, holiday stuff, plenty of stories written but still so, so many more that need to be made. Turns out taking a year off due to stress and anxiety over job finding in an industry that got overflooded with workers is a pain =v=; but I'll work my way out of the pile! eventually!...but yeah! keeping on keeping on :3)
But yeah, getting the art to-do list together took a bit too, think it was like, 50+ uploads total? I found just getting them all in a folder and creating a text file with all the descriptions and tags was the best way to do it, makes it feel like less work than it actually is.
Sorry to hear you had a rough time, but hope the time off has treated you well. Mental health matters, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. There's only one of you and nobody can take care of it better than yourself!

Indeed indeed, I got all the images in a folder and poke through them with google docs writings, but I got that gooood executive dysfunction =v= I also probably put more effort into each of these descriptions than I necessarily need to all the time...which is good in the sense there's more world build for each piece, but also each piece takes that much more out of me which makes a cyclical loop of never having enough energy to work through it all XD. But, I'll keep at it for sure, and keep this in mind ovob
Yeah, that was more last year though, but I'm still recovering from it as can be seen xD appreciate the sentiments though, and much the same to you and yours absolutely ; v ; b
I hear ya loud and clear on the executive dysfunction. How do ya think my backlog GOT this big? Just "eh, I'll get to it later" for more than a year... gotta discipline myself into doing it all at once, and not the fun kinda discipline either.

Yeahhhh indeed...gotta probably do the same for sure. Gonna see if I can't do that in the new year, call it a 'resolution' of sorts once things quite down. We'll see how that goes ; v ; .
