Hell, the time passes so fast
I realized I very much don't exist online and maybe I'll say something to those who remember me. Yes I was lazy and barely touched any art since covid confinement. Not that I have not thought about it, but my vegetative state is hard to break. Since my near death experience with asthma and a long recovery year, I have dropped all hobbies except very few. I was trying to make excuses and just felt like sleeping all the time. Maybe I should finally break this barrier and touch gra... paper. I have so many art tools I can use, maybe more than I can ever use. On top I recently flipped my shit and bought new gaming computer and hell, whole setup all around. Now I can even touch my beloved tablet.
I could use recommendation of a software worth using. I don't feel like fighting photoshop lags again. Tho I haven't heard much positive feedback about free programs for pc users. If you have any tips for a person with shaky hands, I am listening.
Another reason why I am thinking of art is that I started a new job after 7 years. It is decimating my brain cells and I need an outlet that keeps me awake but uses different part of the brain. What do you do when your mind just wants to sleep but you want to be productive? I feel like starting being creative again will help me with my caffeine+long sleep addiction. I think I am not that old to need sleep right after finishing at my job.
I hope you all had wonderful Christmas and I also wish you happy new year. Don't get too drunk kids.

I hear that Krita is free and reasonably popular for drawing
Thanks for feedback, i will give Krita +1 on my list :D I know it exists but haven't checked it properly yet
I will try to make my times easier now, haha
It feels similar to photoshop to me as someone who only uses the basic tools/layers/settings/brushes
It seems reasonable. 25 bucks is worth a shot. Maybe they maybe they got a trial as well. I will make a day of trials and sit down and try it with other programs. giving Clip studio +1 for now
To zni docela dobre.
Krita má vyhladzovanie ťahov pera, to by snáď nemal byť problém.
haha thanks. resources , at least the physical ones, aren't a problem. I am just fighting the constant fatigue. I have some ideas, especially for new techniques and combinations i never used before. Currently sitting at many markers and with possibility to now buy Ohuhu markers with same quality at Copic for 1/5 of the price. it is a very tempting technique. My paints dried out a lot so i have to go trough them and see which are still usable. I might make a trip to ark shop in czech on my way there to replenish the stock for colors i use. I have the entire pallet and i learned i dont need as many. I am also sitting at a very decent set of colored pencils which i am not so skilled with. However biggest doom for me is hand made linework as my hands got shaky over the years. Maybe I can break the barrier and try again.
