Hello everyone !

The clock has just hit midnight here in France and so here comes the time to upload that yearly journal once again :P

I want to wish everyone an amazing New Year 2025 !
2024 is now behind us. It has been quite an eventful year again, there were some highs and some lows. I have lost several people this year. Some within my own family and some on this site, that I wish I had known more before they left.

But as I said, the year has also given me good moments too. For example, I have finally, after 12 years in this fandom, attended my first convention, in my home country of France ! I was pretty stressed about the idea to try the unknown but in the end, it was a wonderful time and I will be attending it again in 2025 with great pleasure ! Hopefully, I may even be able to start attending other conventions perhaps outside of France in the coming years, I'm rather excited for this honestly !

Now, let's talk goals for the year 2025 !

- Real life plans :

Well like I said, I really hope to get the chance to attend more conventions ! I managed to get a spot for the Fauntastic in Lyon, France for April 2025 and I'll be enjoying every single day of it !

Because of that, what used to be a simple thought years ago, has now found its place into my wishlist : Fursuits !
When I was still fresh and young in the fandom, it was obviously an interesting thought, but I did not attend conventions during that time. I didn't really have actual furry friends to spend time with or visit. Now that I've finally decided to become more active in the RL part of the fandom, these old thoughts are coming back and yeah, I would love to one day get my hands on a fursuit of Nol, or even Loti. It would be amazing and definitely a highlight of my furry life :P
It will however take a lot of savings, and knowing the right people xD

- More lore stuff !
Since a few years now, I've started to collect more and more art featuring actual lore pieces about the Forest Breeders ! There are many characters and many stories to tell and there will be much more of that coming for 2025 ! I've spent a large part of 2024 commissionning some pieces related to Forest Breeder lore and I'll definitely be posting these really soon ! Building up lore is just so fun, and I'm always looking forward to find artists to work with in order to create more pieces about it !

- Models, again xD
I've been wanting 3D models of my main OCs for years now. Almost got a high-quality model of Nol in 2020 but one single bad decision on my end botched the whole process. It's been affecting me greatly ever since because I see around me, all those people getting amazing renders and/or animations with their own awesome models and year after year, I feel like I'm just missing out. I really hope for 2025 to be the year where a model for my main dragons, Nol, Shanny or Loti model comes into existence.
And I wouldn't be against some help honestly XD

- New resolution !
Starting off the new year, it's always good to find a way to better yourself as a person. Give yourself a goal, something that you could change about yourself in a good way. What I want to try and work on for 2025 is to be less shy when it comes to talking to people.
I have always been scared of poking people that I'm not yet friends with. I don't want to bother them, I don't want to give off wrong vibes.
Sadly, this year I have realized something that was an eye-opener. There are times when you have to be courageous and just approach those you want to know better. Because they could very much not be with us anymore, the very next month.

Anyway, I didn't plan to make a huge journal xD You probably have a whole lot of other stuff to read ! So I'll finish this by wishing you all, once again, a Happy New Year ! Good health to you and all your loved ones !
