Ya this has happened to a few of my artist friends. I know Ko-Fi is really friendly to NSFW artists too, a friend named   RTF-M uses that

Basically the credit card companies are forcing platforms like patreon to ban NSFW content

its not just the credit cards my entire state is trying to ban NSFW/porn unless you hand over a gov ID i have to use a VPN just to reach a transformation game page now

Yeah, Patreon kind of sucks. They haven't banned me yet, but I decided to pre-emptively close it because I couldn't stay in the community guidelines AND grow my community because the content my community wants would work better on SubscribeStar.

Unfortunately, the lack of Paypal, at this time, is why growing my community has slowed.

Since I haven't been banned by Patreon yet, I'm hoping the content won't be as scrutinized if I add a shop in the future for my full 6-8 page comics. But, despite following their guidelines, they're aware my content teeters close to being banned and have yet to update my +18 account to allow for a shop.

Sorry, turned into a small rant but still, your switch to SubscribeStar appears to be much smoother than mine. And that's something to celebrate, regardless! Keep it up.
