There’s many ways you can go about posting your art, but a schedule helps creating a certain „hype“ in your community aka. keep expectations of people up when they can look forward to new uploads from you. The upload times also differ from site to site, I noticed that Blusky has a different schedule than FA when my art gets most attention. The algorithm is another issue.

It also strongly depends on where the majority of people from your community come from. When you have a bunch of US people, it’s best to upload when the they either get home from work or waking up. It’s where most will check their notifications and stuff.

I found that 10-11pm (on weekends in Germany) tends to yield most recognition on sites like FA and Deviantart. Bluesky I am still figuring out. The large influx of people there recently made it really hard for people to find my art at all.

I can totally relate. Bluesky feels like a completely different beast. I tend to find that mornings usually produce the best results (at least from a Western US perspective), but results might vary.
