no tag blocking for me

I'm trying to put up with modern to use it, but modern on mobile is so horribly unusable..

yeah, they worked mostly on art reports from their new rules i bet...even through im not affected by them its pretty annoying i think that they focus on that stuff, worries and confused allmost everyone with it and still holding on to it...

Works fine on mobile for me so far. Images are actively blurred.

I know they said on telegram that removing the images rather than blurring them would be a piece of work. I'd prefer that, but it's still amazing we get blurs at all and now I can go back and block sooooo many things xD

Let's hope they add a way to add tags to submissions without them. There's way too many people who don't bother tagging, or even write a description, to their art when uploading. Lost to the void right away.

I'm hoping for this too. There is a lot of sketchy stuff even marked sfw that definitely doesn't belong there. Those especially seem to rarely have tags.

At least we're finally moving in a good direction. FA always were waaaays behind in terms of functionality compared to other sites. Even Weasyl have more function and there's barely anyone there..

Here's hoping we get the improvements for posting written works next.

Silly question.
How do you use it?
I have noticed that they have plus and minus next to them now.
So that means you would need to click on the artwork that you wish to tag block?
I looked at the user settings and such and did not find anything to set them to.

If you go to the cog icon on the top right you can go to "profile info"
Scroll down to "tag block list" and it will have a section where it says "add tag to list"
You can manually enter ones you can think of there then make sure to hit update at the bottom for it to save.

You can also just look around on images and those ones with tags with the + on them will be added if you hit that.

For me, I jumped around the home page to find things I didn't want to see added to them.

EDIT: Make sure you're on the modern version of FA and not the outdates version (Classic I think) as that one can't be edited I don't think

can confirm it does work on classic, but if the artist's posts do not incorporate it, then it is on their side. :)

The system basically blurs images (and thumbnails) for things that include a word you add to the block list, from what i'm seeing so far with just a handful marked off.

As long as they tag it, yes, finally!
I recommend using the many jump scares of the homepage to find tags to add to ones block list just in case.

cause holy moly...I blocked all tagless arts and there are soooo many, even of artists I watch. But sadly, I do want to be able to use the home page finally and sooooo many of the triggering artworks just have no tags q.q

The best update since a long, long time FA got, in my opinion. Still doesn't resolve the untagged works (or wrongly tagged, i.e. with typos) problem, but at least works for majority of the tagged ones.

About damn time. I'm doing the same thing. Tired of being bombarded with unwanted fetish art.

It was SO nice to finally see this literally a day after I saw, uh, rather filthy fetish artwork on the homepage. Now, same as you, I will no longer be jumpscared, lmfao.

I saw it yesterday and thought I had just never seen the feature before. Really nice to see. Hopefully more features could be implemented like username changes.

Just mentioning there's been a tampermonkey script for years that not only blocks tags, but also blocks posts if they contain words in the title, descriptions, etc. Not to mention instead of just blurring the image it hides it entirely.
