Picking Up the Pace for 2025

I haven't ever had the best or most consistent record of drawing, writing or posting here without going on long breaks rather than developing my skills or ideas-
I'm resolved to change that- and for the past few weeks i've been opening Clip Studio Paint to work on something on most days- even if it's just to make little tweaks. Same goes with OC and story ideas on my private discord group with just me in it (Probably not the best way to take notes lol).
For the past 3-4 years i've been dealing with struggling to make in-case-of-emergency funds, or helping my older/disabled room-mate get healthier or to the point where they can work a job along-side me- (fingers crossed they can finally get approved for a disability check increase this year) And that whole situation has been really wearing on the time I've had available to work on things- or the energy i had when i came home from work.
I've been yearning to have the disposable income to regularly commission and support artists and writers for some time now- But while I still have no idea when that'll be- I suppose I may as well try to further develop my own ideas and skills.
If I can get good or feel confident enough to do art-trades or even open commissions by the end of the year- that would be awesome. So I'll try to work towards that.
