Old Art, What Do?
I have tried to write this Journal three different times now. And each time my ADHD did me dirty!! Anywho! This past week I have been scanning 90% of the Physical Art I have found. "Why only 90%?" Because the remaining works are Sketches, or just Traced Copies of works to practice Traditional Inking. Not everything needs to be scanned. Trust me. But Now I am sitting on an approximated 300 scans in 600dpi and in greyscale. And I DON'T know what I want to do with them.
Wait. Okay. I know one thing I want to do, I want to use a LOT of these scans for Inking and Coloring Practice with my Kamvas Tablet. But I here's the issue with this plan. I have misplaced an important cable used to connect this surface tablet to my PC. And the replacement is $40 *crys* and Money is extremely tight for February. And If I were to make a Patreon, I have no system in place to reward supporters and retain patrons. My ONLY for for accepting money for this Community I am Trying to form is Ko-Fi and I am STILL on the fence with them too. This also assumes I have the PC hardware to run 3 displays! So I am throwing myself into anxiety breakdowns trying to think of what to do. I want to get this train moving. But it needs funds. And my normal income just ain't cutting it. It's sad.
After thinking about it though. The best move is probably "Stay the Course". Continue Posting New Art in steady intervals. Grow my Fanbase. Then find a Way to Monetize my Art in a way that excites me, and encourages me to Draw more and more. (The Commission format does NOT do that, BTW.) I do have some Fun ideas regarding Community interaction and a d20. I just have to fine-tune it some more so it's an enjoyable experience. Just remember folks if you like something in my Gallery, Say it! Share it! Favorite it! Artist do take notice what catches Likes and Interactions. And we do lean towards what makes fans happy, especially if it makes the Artist happy too.
Well I've expressed my problem. I guess I'll go back to brainstorming ways to place Damsels in Distress. Thanks for hearing me out.
