So I wanna make this short and sweet on a few things. About the changeling tale video, about what I want to do with my commissions going forward and my mood for the 3 people who have paid attention over the last month.

Part 2 of the Changeling Tale video is officially on hiatus: So...I'm just gonna come out and say it; I don't wanna work on the Changeling Tale video anymore.
There are several reasons why. Ain't for lack of trying, that's for sure! After 6-7 full rewrites, 70% work finished on Marion and 30% on Jessie; I've come to a point where my drive to continue is gone.
Let's face it, nobody is gonna watch it. Not a big deal but when I gotta force myself to work on something where I rather be doing other things, just to know what I made is gonna be a tiny *poof* in terms of attention kinda kills any motivation I have.
You can blame a certain redheaded dog for this especially. I've had to juggle with dealing with that part the most that I've just gotten to where I don't care anymore.
There's also the fact that CT ain't little anymore. It's got enough for a viewer base that can make something to express how they feel about it better than I could. Even if they don't, WHO CARES?! All it needs to do is sell and have a fanbase to survive. It doesn't need some shitty video for people to get interested in it because like I was told several years ago after the first time I made a video about CT: "Nobody is gonna watch a video about a furry transformation visual novel".

So tl;dr: I'm shelving the video project. Maybe I'll pick it up again someday, maybe I won't. It's no big loss.

Stuff I commission will be what I want So, this might be a big one or maybe folks won't care. But after the recent denial of comms by some folks, being left high and dry by others [none who I have worked with before, mind you] and my dissatisfaction with the process of commissioning things recently; I've decided to scrap my plans of "building a profile for Billie" and just go with this decree:

"I will commission what I want with whomever artist I feel good enough to work with"

If that means a bunch of art from a handful of regular artists? So be it. If that means it might not make sense to some sorta canon? So what? I used to be worried about getting art from only a handful of artists but I don't care anymore. I bust my ass to afford commissions for ideas that I want and feel a lot of drive for and I want to work with folks who I feel comfortable enough to work with.
It's not "about finding cheap artists". It's about finding artists who won't halfass a pic, won't ghost me for months and won't have me jump through hoops just to commission them in the first place.
Rest assured; you will be seeing more Billie stuff and other things but if anything gets old. Like daki stuff or a particular artist being used all the time it seems; I don't know what to tell you.

Last thing I wanna thank the folks who sent me birthday wishes earlier this week. Yeah, I know it's stupid, childish, selfish, ect ect. But it means a lot to me. My biggest worry is the idea that the folks I talk to regularly are being propped up more in my mind than in reality. I.E. they're only my friends in my head.
The fact that something as insignificant as remembering a person's day means a lot to me and I try to pay in kind to several folks in my life.
There are a few folks I know who it's important to them just like it is to me so I'll always remember to drop them a message to ensure they're remembered.
It doesn't mean getting art or anything. I have been fortunate to get two doodles but just simply being remembered by these folks means a lot to me.
