So uhh... I recently looked back through some of my earlier stories and holy crap...
there's still a lot of jank, but wow, somehow it feels like the stories as a whole were much more alive. y'know they had ACTUAL plot... obv there were plenty of things I did wrong, but the stories I make now aren't nearly as emotional... feels like I started on a high note and now I'm just struggling to make the same or better strides.
I'm still gonna try to write better and better stories, but for all their jank, my older pieces feel like they had more soul in them.
or maybe I'm just looking at them with rose tinted glasses.
1 Addendum... I'm also realized why I stopped adding mick as a featured character. something about the way I made him talk just... didn't translate well in terms of clarity.

If you think you can do better and make the story feel more alive? Great! I wish you luck on your endeavor and hope you succeed.
If not I don't think you will have anyone here complain about anything.
