I am loving the new tag blocking feature! Like so much!! It has made browsing the site so much more enjoyable for me. I even like how it just blurs stuff out instead of completely hiding the pic from us. As it lets me make the decision to see it or not myself, rather than completely taking it from me.
And while there is still the problem of some people not putting tags on their art, this is still a massive improvement from before! Despite some other people's complaints, I've basically haven't seen anything I didn't want to without forewarning. It's even let me follow artists I wouldn't have been able to before because of the other things they post.
If you've somehow missed this new feature getting added, you should absolutely try it out for yourself!

And on people not putting tags on stuff: they've said they're going to start requiring a minimum of 3 tags for all uploads, and probably allowing other users to help with tagging similar to e621. (Though they haven't announced *when*.)
But for the people who scroll through new uploads, I imagine that they are already seeing way less of the stuff they don't want to see! ^^
