Well, it's happening again... Bills like these have usually never made it that far, but with how all three branches of government are right now, threats to us like these are way more likely to get passed. Nor can we count on the Supreme Court anymore to strike this down based on how vague it is.
I am so frustrated that every time bills like these are defeated (whether it be about porn, net neutrality, privacy, etc.) it always comes back with a fresh coat of paint a few years later. Trying to slip under the radar. It's just so exhausting trying to keep up with it all. I've been more politically active this past year than I have ever been in my life, and I am just so tired of it all.
My fellow Americans, please remember to write to your representatives. While they will likely never read your letter, hopefully some intern does so that they can add your opinion to their data charts. So if it shows that enough of their voters strongly care about the issue, maybe they will vote the way we want them to.
And that doesn't just apply to the laws mentioned here. We should be writing them about all of the issues we have with the way our country is going!

Every day I find myself wishing more & more that a 'French style' revolution would happen here. What I would give to see these people face the consequences of their actions...
Things are bad enough in this country that even my lifetime Republican father has been writing/calling our reps every week this year telling them to grow a spine and to start voting against all the crazy things the regime is putting us through.
Also, thanks for making another journal to help spread this around!
