Telegram banned Update 2

So its been a little over a week since my Telegram phone number was banned, and I don't really have much progress or anything to report.
I periodically check telegram on my phone or laptop, I'm still banned. I have sent a follow up email every couple of days to telegram's recovery email and have heard nothing.
I guess I'm sort of just....stuck in limbo waiting to see if they ever respond to any of my emails.
Honestly, at this point, even if they dont un-ban me, I just want some answers. WHY did this happen? What did I do wrong, if anything? If I can get some sort of response then maybe I can warn others and prevent it from happening to them as well.
Unless anything changes, this will probably be my last journal on the matter. But if anyone has any other tips/advice, please never hesitate to reach out.

Not disagreeing with the idea at all, just really curious since the account is connected to my phone number
Something I saw online seemed to suggest that it would take 3 months to be able to use your account again, but it will be wiped clean of messages and such when you get to it.

mine was banned a week ago (Feb 10th 10 pm)
I appealed both Telegram emails and submitting the ticket on Telegram support
now my telegram account and phone number got unbanned yester-night (Feb 19th, 8:48 pm)
hope yours got unbanned soon :<
i also sent them a follow up message on the support link you sent me!
so hopefully i hear back from them soon!
just... not sure when :(
