Journal Update

Words cannot begin to express the gratitude I feel right now within this amazing community. Thank-you to everyone who has lend a hand to help me rebuild what I lost.
Today I was able to secure a room in a shared house. I will be living with two other tenants. The owner took the listing down and we will be drawing up a rental agreement tomorrow, he has already given me the keys to come and go as I please. I have secured and paid bond, bought a mattress and sheets. All thanks to your help. Next is pillows and blankets, as well as a new door handle with a lock for privacy. There was already a bed frame from the last tenant, so I'll be making the most of that to save some money.
The shared accommodation obviously isn't meant for long term. My plan is to stay at this property for a year and then look for my own place. It is cramped, no wardrobe or space for a dresser. The bed pretty much takes up the entire room. It has four floor roller storage cupboards underneath the bed. So I will use that for all my belongings/clothes till I can find somewhere permanent. My friend has been kind enough to store my belongings at their home in the USA but once I am settled I will look into a storage unit and start shipping my items back.
In the mean time, I will be receiving on going intense therapy once I am settled to process all of this. It will be a lot to unpack and these things take time. Now that I have a fixed address I can reapply for my CPAP machine and other medical equipment that I desperately need.
I have received dozens of messages from people who read my journal and could relate to my situation. It makes me incredibly sad. Please, if you or someone you know is in similar circumstances I urge you to leave safetly. Make a exit plan. Reach out to family or friends. You aren't alone.
I wanted to clarify a few points, in case anyone is confused. I regained ownership of my fursona, Opal. She was for sale and sold privately but the sale was never finalized or completed. I worked with the "new" owner and we made a verbal agreement that I would once again be the original owner.
I have some backlog of art that I wish to post as I only became active once more on FA a short time ago but for now I shall hold off. I do not want anyone getting the wrong idea. But I hope in the future I can share some wonderful works of art with you all again.
