I found the journal button... So I might as well throw some stuff on here... Is this for personal use or for making public announcements?
Damn, my profile page looks blank af. I need to learn how to make it pretty like all you others out there. And I REALLY need a freaking profile picture because I'm tired of looking at this plain-ass default cup of paint brushes.
Anyways...
Hey if anyone reads this, give a stranger a compliment today. Say something like "I like your shirt." or "You've got a beautiful voice."
Someone did that for me yesterday and it made me smile like a moron for twenty minutes. I think people tend to forget how powerful a sentence from a stranger can be.

This is so true. Just a random compliment from a person I'm working with can make the entire difference in my day sucking to being manageable. A genuine compliment goes a long way. <3 Thanks for nudging that good out into the world. :3

Reminds me living up here in Maine that I was feeling sourly depressed and worried for my fellow queer friends since November, but I found that keeping count of every time a rando' stranger has said something kind and positive about the pro-LGBTQ bumper stickers on my car or the pins on my jacket has sustained some sense of camaderie in these tough times. So far, I've had 23 people say cool things about them and it's a plus in these times, especially finishing out my graphic design/art degree!
You made me smile at the end of a long and rough day. :)
