Starting anew car-wise
I was involved in an accident while driving to my dad's house about a month ago. A truck driving the other way slid on the snow/ice on the road, rammed my car's driver's side and drove off before I could get the truck's license plate number.
Both doors and the rearview mirror were smashed, and one of the rear axles was bent. The body shops I took the car to said it would be too difficult to find parts and too expensive to repair ($6,400-7,900) for the value of the car.
My dad and brother helped me find a used 2024 car with very low mileage, which I began driving today. It's the same type as my old car, a Subaru Impreza. My old Subaru (a 2005 model) served me well for 20 years.

I am just glad that you're finally back on your feet.
I could do without the info screen as it''s more of a distraction and less responsive than hard buttons, otherwise...
Congrats for the newer ride. No worries for the next 5-7 years when going to cons :)
